Refectocil is an Austrian brand, made by the GW COSMETICS team
Founded in 1930, under the former name Gschwentner, the company has always specialized in hair dyes. 12 years later, in 1942, the now famous RefectoCil eyebrow and eyelash dye was launched. It was a real pioneering achievement.
Today, RefectoCil is the global market leader in the professional sector, selling millions of tubes every day in more than 80 countries around the world. In 1945 the company Weinzierl was founded, specializing in the production of skin care cosmetics.
In 2004 Rainer Deisenhammer acquired the company Geschwentner and in 2007 Mr. Deisenhammer took over the company Weinzierl and later merged the two companies to form the current GW Cosmetics. Today, GW Cosmetics has 120 employees and is considered an expert in eyebrow and lash styling products. It is also an award-winning producer of these high-end cosmetic products. As an owner-managed company with its own laboratories, it develops and manufactures the products exclusively in Lower Austria at their location in Leopoldsdorf near Vienna.
It is with a great love for difference and beauty that the company can count on to create the imaginative and the new. Their thirst for knowledge and research drives them to make products even more beautiful, in the sense of being better, simpler, and more sustainable. Their passion in practice remains curious!
Refectocil offers accessories, tools, and kits developed especially for professionals. Products of superior quality and innovation because their desire is to make the life of customers easier and more beautiful from the coloring to the bleaching of eyebrows, eyelashes, and beard.
From extravagant to natural, Refectocil knows how to highlight eyebrows and lashes according to face shape, hair color, skin tone, and style. Whether it's windy, rainy, or snowy, there's no need to worry about those perfectly tinted and shaped lashes because the product lasts up to 6 weeks, doesn't run, and is water resistant.
In addition to the company's success for its many lines GW cosmetics cannot do without the praise of different communities such as CAPE 10 which is a center for all, including people with social and health disabilities and especially for children and youth. On three floors, it offers social services for participation, inclusion, and education, as well as complete medical care.
As a company that operates internationally, GW Cosmetics is committed to supporting ZARA's work for civil courage and anti-racism, as well as Kenia Kids for Africa and Doctors Without Borders.
It also wholeheartedly supports the 4 Teens Sozial Projekt Wien and Red Noses Clowndoctors
