Return Policy

Aesthetics & Electrolysis Canada (hereafter referred to as EEC) offers a selective and conditional return program. The following conditions must be respected in order for the product to be eligible for the return program offered by EEC:

- The product must have been originally purchased from EEC;

- The customer must provide the invoice proving the purchase of the product;

- The product is in its original, new, unused and uninstalled condition;

- The customer has had the product in his possession for less than 10 days;

- The product is still on EEC's most recent price list and has not been discontinued;

- The product was not a special order or request only item;

- The product was not manufactured to the customer's personal specifications;

 

For health and safety reasons, some products are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. (Such as: Gift cards, Make-up, Nail polish, Cream, underwear, manicure or pedicure tools, etc.)

Prior to any refund, the products will be inspected and EEC reserves the right to reduce the refund amount as follows:

In the event of a return not attributable to a manufacturing defect or error on the part of EEC, EEC will charge a service and handling fee (re-shelving) of 25% of the value of the product for products of $100.00 CAD and less and 20% for products of $100.01 CAD and more;

- In addition, a repair fee will be charged when a repair is required to return the product to a resalable condition similar to its original condition (time, part and service call);

Any return made by a customer that does not comply with these terms and conditions will result in a handling fee of $25 per product. In addition, the customer will be required to take back the returned product and assume the shipping costs, unless the customer authorizes EEC in writing to destroy the product. A product to be returned due to an error by EEC will be at EEC’s charge.

 

Returned items are exchangeable or refundable by account credit only.



Special orders

EEC offers the possibility to order items that are not part of the standard merchandise.  However, a deposit equivalent to 25% of the total amount will be required at the time of ordering.  In the event that the customer cancels the order, EEC reserves the right to keep this deposit to cover the cost of compensation. No returns/exchanges/cancellations will be allowed as these items are on special request and are not part of the company's regular merchandise.


Limited warranty on certain equipment
Offering a quality product is one of EEC's top priorities. EEC offers a limited warranty on certain equipment (see the equipment sheet or contact customer service to find out if the equipment has a warranty and for how long). This warranty is for the original owner only and the equipment must have been originally purchased from EEC;


EEC warrants the equipment to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of time (as specified in the equipment's data sheet) from the date of original purchase of the equipment by the original owner from EEC. The customer must provide the invoice proving the purchase of the equipment. EEC reserves the right to deny free warranty coverage if the required documentation cannot be provided or if the information is incomplete, illegible or incorrect;


Defective equipment returned during the warranty period will be, at EEC's option:


- Repaired with new or reconditioned parts;
- Replaced with new or refurbished like or similar equipment;


Equipment returned under this warranty will be tested. If any equipment returned is in proper working order, as specified at the time of sale, the customer will be required to pay the sum of $25 per product tested to cover the cost of testing. In addition, the customer will be required to take back the returned equipment and pay for shipping costs, unless the customer authorizes EEC in writing to destroy the equipment;


Transportation charges, service call charges for travel to the customer's site and loaner charges for a replacement unit are not covered by the warranty and are the responsibility of the customer. If the equipment must be shipped back to the manufacturer, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs;

No repaired or replaced equipment (or part) extends the original warranty period beyond the original warranty period, calculated from the date of original purchase of the product;


The warranty does not cover physically damaged or non-functional equipment due to improper, inadequate or non-conforming use, handling, assembly or installation by the customer or user;


The warranty does not cover deterioration or defects resulting from lack of maintenance or maintenance not in accordance with the instructions, in particular, deterioration or defects resulting from intensive, unusual or incorrect use, or use in abnormal conditions;


This warranty does not cover breakage or damage caused by normal wear and tear, fault, neglect, abuse, alteration or modification of the equipment, fire, chemical or natural corrosion, flood, acts of God or any other fortuitous event;


This warranty does not cover color changes, stains or other defects of a cosmetic nature;


EEC is not responsible for any injury or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, to persons or property resulting from the use of this equipment. EEC is not responsible for any damage resulting from failure to follow the contents of the Instruction Manual;


EEC's entire liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the equipment, at EEC's option;


EEC will not pay any compensation for any inconvenience or damage that may be caused by the inability to use the equipment, nor any expense that may be incurred during the repair or replacement of the equipment.




Loaner Equipment (available only under the warranty program)

As part of its warranty program, EEC may offer, at its own discretion, a loaner service for certain equipment. Rental costs are not covered by the warranty and are the responsibility of the customer;


The equipment must be rented for a minimum of one week and must be returned in the same condition. The equipment must be rented for a minimum of one week and must be returned in the same condition. A repair fee may be charged to the customer if necessary;


The weekly rental fee is :


$50 for : a lamp, a serving table, a wax warmer, a dremel, a U.V. lamp, a dry heat sterilizer, a vapozone, a stool, an ultra-sonic or high frequency;     
$75 for :      a manicure table;
$150 for :    a chair, electrolysis machine, autoclave or Lucas.


No accessories included unless otherwise specified by EEC.

Equipment loans do not include shipping costs and will be charged to the client if necessary.


A security deposit will be required to authorize the loan of equipment, usually 25% of the value of the new equipment.

EEC makes every effort to have the best inventory, the best products, the greatest availability and the best prices.
We are proud to offer you over 6000 products under more than 175 brands from over 350 manufacturers in more than 25 different countries around the world.

Despite our best efforts, some products may be out of stock. EEC offers you to keep these notes in our systems at no cost. We will contact you when the products arrive and if you still wish to receive the item, we will ship it to you free of charge if the order value exceeds $60.00 CAD before taxes. It will be possible for you to add products to this order at no extra cost and without shipping fees;


This free shipping policy does not apply to special order items only, nor to equipment, nor to items designed and customized for the customer. EEC reserves the right to refuse free shipping if the weight is too heavy, if the customer requests an emergency delivery that may require air freight or any other reason that may affect the profitability of the company.




Defects in the delivery of an item or failure of the item

EEC and its staff recheck all orders, carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery of products to your location. Your satisfaction is our success and we take it to heart. All order picking is monitored by camera, our system compares the weight of the products ordered to the total weight of the products shipped to confirm that all products are in your package. In addition, all calls are recorded to track any errors that may have escaped our control system.

Despite our efforts, it may happen that an item is defective or missing at the time of delivery. Contact us as soon as possible so that we can correct the situation with you.

Here are some conditions to respect when returning a defective product or warning that the product is missing:


- No claim will be accepted after 5 working days following the reception of your order;
- No returns will be accepted without first obtaining a return number;
- EEC reserves the right to verify all its systems before issuing a proposal to the customer (Camera viewing of orders, Call listening, Follow-up with the carrier, Weight difference evaluation, Inventory calculation, etc.);
- EEC will assume the transportation costs in order to correct the error if it is charged.
