The ingredients urea and glycerol bind moisture in deeper skin layers; hard skin becomes supple and excessive formation of new hard skin is reduced. Avocado oil and jojoba oil replenish the dry skin with lipids. Ceramides are important constituents of the skin; they reinforce its protective barrier and protect the skin from drying out. Excessive scaling of the skin is reduced.
